TESTIMONIALS

Moles,
they love my lawn !
Over the past 4 years I think Mick has caught between 10 and 12 in my
garden. When the molehills appear it’s a message or text to Mick’s
mobile.
Same or next day, when I get home from work,
Mick’s trap marker sticks
are dotted around the lawn. 48 hours later, sticks gone, traps gone,
molehills dispersed, holes filled, grass divots replaced, invoice
through letterbox and no fresh molehills.
Job done, top man.

I
have a large grassed area to the rear of the house which dips in the
middle and throughout the year is always damp which attracts the worms
which in turn regularly bring in the moles.
I
call Mick and soon his traps are set. Sometimes, due to the damp clay
soil the mole pushes the soil into Mick’s traps which triggers them but
allows the mole to escape.
However Mick perseveres and usually within 2 or 3 visits the little
blighter is caught.
He has never failed yet.
Pleasant, courteous old style service.

I
think I was one of Mick’s first customers when he started his mole
catching business a number of years ago.
I
usually have 1 or 2 visits annually from the little pests, but a call to
Mick and normally after only 2 visits the problem is sorted.
He always reinstates the lawn for me where he has set his traps and
always has time for a tour of the garden.
Very knowledgeable, good humoured and now a friend as well as a
trustworthy Molecatcher.

I
am responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a local Town Council's
sports area which has numerous Rugby, Football and Cricket pitches etc.
We have had an ongoing problem over the years with moles and have tried
using gas pellets to rid the area of them but without much success.
I
saw Mick the Mole, Traditional Molecatcher,
advertised in a local magazine. When I contacted Mick, he
suggested that due to the distance he would have to travel, a more
financially viable way forward would be if he taught myself and a
colleague how to catch the moles ourselves.
After finance was agreed by the Town Clerk, Mick spent a half day with
us passing on his vast knowledge of moles, how to find the mole runs,
different types of mole traps etc., and giving us
(very patient!) trapping tuition.
He later kept in contact by phone to find out how we were progressing
and whether we had encountered any problems and after only a couple of
weeks I was pleased to report that we had cleared the whole affected
area of moles and were now well
prepared should
others invade again.
These are just four genuine testimonials from the hundreds of customers
I have helped with their Mole Problems over the years.
What do you need to know about Moles ?
Their Latin name, size, weight, breeding habits etc? All you need to know is that moles have four legs, two very big front feet, a pointy nose and a large appetite for worms and as you are probably aware by now (that’s why you are looking for a Molecatcher) can, in a very short time, turn your lawn, flower beds, paddock, field, churchyard, sports ground etc., into a scene resembling a battlefield !
Ways to get rid of Moles
Traps, traps, or traps. The only surefire humane method.
Mole Deterrents (so called) or other Old Wives Tales !
Moth Balls, Windmills in a Bottle, Smoke Bombs etc., I even have one
customer who sprays WD 40 down the molehills (at least the mole does not
squeak!)
The ever popular (and expensive) contraption that works off solar power or batteries, that you push into your lawn and it lets out a regular beep. 85% to 95% of my customers have them in their lawns. So if they, or any of the other so called deterrents work, then why am I called in ??
Working Area
Normally a 20 mile radius of Wimborne Minster,
which include
Ferndown, Verwood, Ringwood, Blandford, East Dorset. However I will travel a
greater distance subject to the customer agreeing a suitable price.
Mole
catching Fees
Depends on how big the problem is, distance to travel, time spent
etc.
Remember, if you live a considerable distance from me and you have a
regular Mole problem, you may wish to consider the tuition option.
However much it costs, I think
that
compared to the price of the Boilerman
visiting or having your car repaired, the cost of
getting rid of your Mole Problem will be quite reasonable.
